The Air Cargo Facility Center, granted by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), was inaugurated at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) on Monday, January 20, 2014.
The center is being managed by Jordan Airports Company (JAC), and inspects cargo shipped through QAIA in a much safer and faster manner than using traditional X-ray machines.
The Center is working 24/7, where Jordan Airports Company (JAC) provided management & technical personnel to ensure continuity of work in order to ensure convenience and speed for security scanning operations of merchandise in no more than 15 minutes in normal situations per vehicle.
